The Los Angeles and Miami residences of rap star Diddy (Sean Combs) were raided by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Monday in connection with a federal sex trafficking investigation.

According to Page Six, law enforcement officers executed surprise searches armed with weapons at the rapper’s homes on March 25. TMZ and Fox 11 captured footage showing numerous federal agents raiding and sealing off Diddy’s lavish residence in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, with multiple helicopters hovering overhead. At Diddy’s mansion in Miami, Florida, federal agents approached by water and appeared to be armed as well.

Several individuals were seen being questioned outside Diddy’s Los Angeles home with their hands restrained, including two men believed to be Diddy’s sons, Justin and King Combs.

Sources informed The Post that the raids were conducted to seize Diddy’s phones and computers ahead of an international trip. Additionally, law enforcement officials announced plans for further raids on properties connected to the rap mogul in New York and Chicago. The raids were led by the Homeland Security Investigations Human Trafficking Task Force, based on search warrants issued by the Southern District of New York.

A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) stated on TMZ, “Earlier today, HSI New York executed lawful enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with the assistance of HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners.”

The raids come amid multiple recent lawsuits filed against the American rapper and music producer, alleging sexual assault and sex trafficking. Diddy has denied all allegations.

Last year, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura), filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual abuse during their relationship from 2005 to 2018. Diddy denied the allegations, accusing Cassie of attempting to extort money from him, but they later reached a private settlement, avoiding court.

Subsequently, at least four other lawsuits have been filed accusing Diddy of rape and sexual assault, including by a former male employee of the rapper.

Before the raids on March 25, Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, stated, “We will continue to support law enforcement agencies as they seek to prosecute those who violate the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that holds Mr. Combs accountable for his abusive behavior.”

Representatives for Diddy have not yet commented on the matter.
